I have a event marketing/event staffing business for sale that is a S Corp. The business was started in San Francisco in 2003. In 2005 the business was moved to Charleston Sc. The business can be run anywhere. All you need is a computer and phone.

I have one employee and a data base with around 17,000 event workers around the nation. We work with large PR firms and direct clients and brands. (All large well known names) We have a great reputation. We also have a huge social media presence.

We often provide event teams, street teams, flyer teams, and event teams all around the nation for large events to represent well known brands. For instance each year we provide teams at the Winter X-Games in Aspen. We also have provided event teams for national chain store grand openings. We have worked with some of the largest PR and Marketing firms in the world and oddly we are starting to get clients from Europe that need teams in the States for clients. We recently worked with a PR firm in London providing teams in LA for a promotion and a Paris company providing event teams in Las Vegas for a promotion.

Some of the events we have provided event teams for have included E3, Comic Con, Duran Duran Concerts, Motley Crue Concerts, The Country Music awards, SXSW Music festival and many more.

The business was valued at 99,000 by a top notch CPA firm in Charleston and a few business brokers have come up with the same number after looking at the past tax returns.
For this business you could basically transfer the business to any state. Currently it is a S corp.

On a average day you would talk to clients, give estimates, book event teams, and send out invoices. Also we pay the event teams every two weeks and the clients pay around every 30 days on average. So you would need some capital in the bank for cash flow. We like to pay the workers fast.

The events are all different and in different locations often so you also need to be creative.

This business has paid for myself and one employee for the past six years as well as all supplies etc. We had a data base and website built by a company in South America a few years ago. Everything is up to par.
